My name is Elder Jasper L Norwood. I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in January 1994. I began working in outreach ministry after I completed the new member's class at Refuge Temple Church in Buffalo, New York. I began serving in that outreach ministry as a result of being led by the Holy Spirit to go into homes, streets, nightclubs, nursing homes, prisons, and to witness to unsaved family members and other lost souls. My instruction is to introduce God's Plan of Salvation. I received and accepted my calling as a Minister of the Gospel in March, 2005 at the Revelation Baptist Church in Buffalo, New York. One year later July 2006 God called me to Freedom Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama. Since May 2016-2018, I have served as an Associate Minister at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama.

ABOUT
I have discovered that the church has become so busy that it has failed to extend the open invitation of God's Plan of Salvation beyond its church walls. Just outside of our church doors are the lost, homeless, addicted, and the spiritually lost, who live purposeless and hopeless lives.
Jesus gave us a Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20(KJV). And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, All power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things what so ever I have commanded you: lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. This is what Jesus taught, and as Christians we must also teach. Knowing who Jesus is, is not enough for Salvation. Knowing the Bible, is not enough for Salvation. Faith isn't what you know but whom you know, and what you are doing for kingdom building. It is important for we as believers to know the Word, but it is also equally important for us to apply the Word in our actions.
As believers we must be taught and encouraged to take God's Plan of Salvation outside of the Church. Let us not be found guilty of not teaching those who lack knowledge of Salvation. In Hosea 4:6 (KJV), the LORD says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priest; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."
ACTION
Therefore, let us take God's Plan of Salvation to the people. Matthew 6:33 (KJV) gives this command, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Our Purpose: Let us go and be about our Father's business. "Then He said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the laborer's are few". Matthew 9:37 (NIV)
Recognize: For it is by the grace you been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
Confess: You cannot save yourself; you are a guilty sinner worthy of God's righteous judgment. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 (NIV)
"That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)
Believe: Believe the good news that Christ died for the ungodly, was raised from the dead, and now lives to save all who come to him in faith. "But God demostrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8(KJV)
"Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God."
ACTION
Call: Call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with a sincere desire to be saved from your sins. For God promises in Romans 10:13 (NIV) that "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved by the Blood of Christ."
Rely: Rely upon God's promise, not upon your feelings. By faith declares you are sealed by the Blood of Jesus Christ. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 (NIV)
